Pastorn 教授，博士生导师，西班牙马德里大学岩土材料实验室首席专家，在国际顶尖期刊发表论文50余篇，撰写专著3部。
主要研究领域：
Soil dynamics: laboratory testing (1975-1980). Dynamic behaviour of road materials (1980-1982)
Constitutive modelling for soil dynamics (liquefaction) (1983-1991) Finite element modelling on: Geotechnical Engineering: Landslides, debris flows, flow slides, dynamic behaviour of earth dams, dynamic behaviour of railroad plattforms, transport of pollutants,... Harbour Engineering: Resonance, and long wave amplification, castal hydrodynamics, estuary dynamics. Hydraulics Engineering: Dam break, waves in reservoirs caused by landslides .Structural Engineering: Dynamic behaviour of concrete dams with reservoir
