    报告人简介

Prof. Vladimir Bregadze graduated from the Chemistry Department of M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1960. He received his Ph. D. and D. Sc. degree, Professor of Chemistry in USSR Academy of Sciences. Now he is a Head of Laboratory of Organoaluminum and Boron Compounds of A. N. Nesmeyanov Institute of Organoelement Compounds, Russian Academy of Sciences (from 1989). His fields of interest are organic and inorganic derivatives of boron and some Main Group Metals, chemistry of polyhedral boranes and carboranes, study of their reactivity and application in medicine (antitumor activity, boron neutron capture therapy) and for design of materials. In 1976 he received USSR State Prize in Science and Technology for Development and Application of New Materials in Industry, and in 1996 he was awarded Russian Federation State Prize in Science and Technology. He published near 500 research papers, reviews and chapters in books.

Prof. Igor Sivaev was born in 1964. After graduation from the Mendeleev Moscow Institute of Chemical Technology (1987), he worked at the Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences. He pursued his PhD degree at the Uppsala University, Sweden (2000) and joined Prof. Vladimir Bregadze group at Nesmeyanov Institute of Organoelement Compounds, Russian Academy of Sciences. In 2014, Igor received a Doctor of Chemical Sciences degree (habilitation) at the Nesmeyanov Institute of Organoelement Compounds, Russian Academy of Sciences where currently he is a Leading Researcher (Research Professor). His scientific interests are the chemistry and application of polyhedral boron hydrides, including boranes, carboranes and metallacarboranes. He is the corresponding author or co-author of more than 160 scientific papers and book chapters in this field, some with high citation indexes ( > 100).

Dr. Marina Stogniy was born in 1985 and obtained her bachelor degree and master degree in 2007 and 2009, respectively, from Moscow M. V. Lomonosov State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology, and Ph. D. in Chemistry in 2013 from A. N. Nesmeyanov Institute of Organoelement Compounds of Russian Academy of Sciences. Currently she works as a Scientific Researcher in A. N. Nesmeyanov Institute of Organoelement Compounds of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Her fields of interest are chemistry of polyhedral boron hydrides and metallacarboranes – synthesis of organic derivatives and medical applications.
